The trekking itinerary of Annapurna Base Camp Trek includes a long uphill trail, steel suspension bridges, less vegetation areas, dense foreste areas, long stone steps, beautiful oak forest, and frequent bamboo forest. It also takes you to the Annapurna Sanctuary, which receives only 7 hours of sunlight. This sunlight could be the reason, why the sanctuary has appealing characteristics. The itinerary also includes the trekking trail that takes you to the largest rhododendron forest of Nepal that leads you to Poonhill, a famous viewpoint of Nepal. Every Annapurna trekker boasts Poonhill after visiting it.The reasons are this viewpoint offers a stunning view of mountains, such as Fishtail, Annapurna Ranges, Dhaulagiri Ranges, including other small and large peaks. As you look at the mountains from Poonhill, you will call Nepal the Heaven of Mountains. On the second last day of the Annapurna Base Camp Trek, you will relax, boost, and revive the energy that you have lost during trekking by dipping into Jhinu Hot Spring. Later, you trek to Nayapul from where you head off to Pokhara by bus. No less is Pokhara in terms of mountains, in addition to these, it is the City of Lakes, as well as, the second largest city of Nepal.
