Trekking

Trekking means walking uphill, walking downhill, and walking hillside. It also means reaching the high pass of 5000 m, reaching the base of the world’s highest mountain, resting in the colorful villages, and viewing the mountains from the vantage points. Besides traversing uphill and downhill, you also pass by the chortens, monasteries, hotels, guesthouses, and traditional houses. You also get familiarized with the Sherpa Culture, the Buddhist religion and the high altitude areas of the Everest, Annapurna, Langtang, Kanchenjunga, Upper Dolopa and Mustang. Some trekking trails take you to a high pass, while some take you to a high altitude of 5555 m, some to the maximum altitudes of 3500 m or 4000 m. At these altitudes, you may suffer from Altitude Mountain Sickness; therefore, you must have a good physical condition to overcome this sickness.
