Multi Sports Adventure includes rafting, Paragliding, Mountain Biking, Bungy Jumping and Jungle safari. Rafting in the Trishuli river gives you thrilling and exciting experience. Besides this, the natural scenery that you see from the Trisuli River is spectacular, including the green water and width of the river are enormous, which will make rafting more adventurous.

Paragliding in Pokhara from Sarangkot is another memorial moment with aerial view of Pokhara city. Among many geological wonders of this city, you will visit Phewa Lake, Barahi Temple, Seti River Gorge, Devi’s Fall, and Guptesharmahadev Cave. This cave holds a special value to the Hindus because it contains the phallic symbol of Lord Shiva, and this symbol has been preserved there in the same condition since it was discovered. Similarly, the beauty of the local villages and hilly regions will captivate your mind for a long time. Sarangkot, a famous hill – station, which is a 30 min drive from Pokhara, is also one of the highlights of Multi Sports Adventure, and from this hill station, you will see an excellent view of mountains, including Annapurna, Dhaulagiri, and Machhapuchre.

Later you will drive to Chitwan and visit Chitwan National Park, where in you will ride an elephant, watch birds, walk in jungle, and if lucky witness the Royal Bengal Tiger, One – horned Rhinoceros, and Gharial crocodile.

After getting back to Kathmandu, we will take you to Bhote Kosi River. Above this river is a bungy jumping point. As you jump from the point, you will have a chilling experience. Before you reach this point, you will visit the interesting places of the Kathmandu Valley by riding with the professional biking guide of Ace Holidays.

  • Day 2 Pre-Trip Meeting and Sightseeing in the Kathmandu Valley

    At around 8 a.m. Ace Holidays hosts a meeting at hotel and introduces you to your guide. In this meeting, you are requested to bring your passport, 3 passport size photos and a readable copy of your travel insurance. Also in this meeting, you must clear all due balance, sign a legally binding trip form, and a non – liability disclaimer.You are also requested to ask any questions of your trip. Ace Holidays provides you Duffel Bag and Cap (yours to keep). After the pre-trip meeting, your sightseeing trip will start at around 8:45 a.m. You will have a private vehicle and a professional tour guide. The sightseeing includes the following places:

    Patan Durbar Square

    Patan Durbar Square is an enchanting combination, which consists of palace buildings, artistic courtyards and graceful pagoda and temples. The former square is also the center of Patan’s religious and social life, and houses a museum, an array of bronze statues and religious objects. One remarkable monument here is a 17th-century temple dedicated to the Hindu god Krishna, built entirely of stone.

    Khokana and Bungmati Villages

    Founded in the 7th century, Bungmati village is a home to Matchyendranath, the God of Rain and Compassion, Both the Hindus and the Buddhists worship this god, who is accredited with the introduction of rice plantations in the Kathmandu Valley. The rich heritage and relatively unchanging lifestyle of the Newar people are clearly seen both in Bungamati and in Khokana.

  • Day 3Drive to Charaundi for rafting – 2 hrs and drive to Pokhara – 3 hrs in a Private Vehicle

    After breakfast, you drive to Charaundi (the starting point of rafting) in a tourist vehicle. The rafting in the Trishuli River is the most thrilling adventure activity of the Multi – sports adventure that you are going to enjoy. During the rafting, you will feel the real ecstasy of life in Nepal. The natural scenery seen from the Trisuli River will be another spectacle to cherish. Upon reaching Mugling, an ending point of rafting, you will head off to Pokhara.

  • Day 4Early morning 45 minutes paragliding and guided sightseeing in Pokhara

    Today, after breakfast, you will venture into an awe-inspiring paragliding session over Pokhara, the city of lakes. You will be flying in the sky, seeing the splendid scenarios of the Annapurna, Manaslu and Dhaulagiri ranges and the beauty of the Pokhara valley and Phewa Lake.The afternoon will be reserved for sightseeing in Pokhara. A private vehicle and a professional tour guide will be provided to you. The places you visit in Pokhara include the followings, and your sightseeing trip will start at 9 a.m.

    Devi’s Fall

    Devi’s fall is also known as Patale Chhango in Nepali and lies in the southern flank of the Pokhara valley. The lake is sourcing from the Fewa Lake. its water falls into a deep gorge and through several potholes.

    Gupteshwar Cave

    Gupteshwar Cave is 2 km away from Pokhara airport. Its entrance is right across from Devi’s fall, and the cave stretches 3 km long. It also contains big hall-sized rooms and some passages where you have to crawl. This cave holds a special value to the Hindus because it has a phallic symbol of Lord Shiva. It has preserved the symbol in the same condition.

    Phewa Lake and Barahi Temple

    Phewa Lake and Barahi Temple are situated at an altitude of 800 m above sea level. It has been declared as the second largest lake of Nepal. Located in the middle of a lake, Barahi Temple is the most important religious monument in Pokhara. The temple features two-storied pagoda, which is of “Female Shakti.” Shakti means power in Nepali. The images of Mt. Machhapuchhare and Annapurna can be seen in the water of Phewa Lake. To the south of this lake, you see a thick forest slope.

    Seti River Gorges

    Seti River Gorge has been carved out by the Seti-Gandaki River. This gorge is one of the natural wonders of Pokhara. K.I. Singh bridge at Bagar and Mahendrapool & Prithivi highway Bridge near bus park, provide a perfect view of the Seti’s dreadful, rush, turbulent, white water.

  • Day 5Drive to Chitwan National Park – 4 hrs.

    Today you will drive to the Chitwan National Park in a tourist vehicle. It was established in 1973, one of the first national park of Nepal. The park contains more than 43 species of mammals and is renowned for protecting the endangered one- horned rhinoceros, tiger, and Gharial crocodiles. On reaching the resort, the Guest Relations Officer will brief you on elephant safari, jungle walk, nature walk, and boat ride.

  • Day 6Activities in the Chitwan National Park.

    Early morning wake up call is followed by tea/coffee. Morning safari provides you one of the best times to see the wildlife of the Chitwan National Park. The safari also includes bird watching, elephant safari and jungle walk. After breakfast, you walk for 45-minutes through the grassland and forest upstream, along the Narayani River. As you travel in a local boat, you observe crocodiles along the banks and then head off to the resort for lunch. Late afternoon, a guide will take you for elephant safari and jungle walk. You will also visit the observation tower do a nature walk and travel in a boat.

  • Day 7Drive to Kathmandu in a Tourist bus – 7 hrs

    Today you will drive back to Kathmandu. In the evening, you can walk in the Thamel, do some street shopping.

  • Day 8Day biking trip in and around Kathmandu – 6 hrs.

    Today at 8 a.m. after breakfast, you will ride in the best single track of the Kathmandu Valley. The zig zag track runs through the paddy field and semi-rural local villages . This ride combines sharp, steep climbs and down hills. There are many variations on this route so you can choose and take assistance from your guide depending on your fitness and skill. It is about 70 km of moderate ride, which takes 6 to 7 hours. Ride back to hotel.

  • Day 9Drive to Kodari for Bungy Jumping – 4 hrs. Return to Kathmandu.

    After driving to the Bungy jumping point, you experience the ultimate adventure and adrenaline over the gushing Bhote Koshi River. The point is situated above 169 meters over the wild Bhote Koshi River. The point is also located close to the Nepal-Tibet border (Barahbise). Drive back to Kathmandu. At the evening have farewell dinner in traditional Nepali restaurant with cultural program.

  • Day 10Transfer to Tribhuwan International Airport for Departure

    You are picked up from the hotel and transferred to Tribhuwan International Airport on time.

Arrival and Departure

Upon arrival in Tribhuwan International Airport, Kathmandu, you see the guide holding the signboard of Ace Holidays, and your guide accompanies you from the airport to the hotel. Similarly, on the departure day, your guide accompanies you from the hotel to the airport.

Important Note: The local porters at Tribhuwan International Airport in Kathmandu, may ask tip/money to you. PLEASE DO NOT GIVE ANY MONEY TO THEM, not even to the person, who is holding Ace Holidays' sign board. Begging is one of the harsh realities of this country, Ace Holidays believes that it should be discouraged. Ace Holidays will also not repay you if you give money to anyone at Tribhuwan International Airport.

    How do I book the trip?

    To secure your booking, you have to fill in and return the final booking form. The word or PDF version of final booking form will be sent to you via e-mail then you can e-mail or fax the complete booking form. In addition, we also require minimum 30% per person deposit to guarantee your place as it enables us to make the pre-arrangements on your behalf. The remaining 70% can be paid when you arrive in Kathmandu. The deposit can be paid by the bank transfer or credit cards (Master, Visa or American Express cards). There will be 4% bank levy for all the payments done by the cards.

    What sort of accommodation can I expect in Kathmandu, Pokhara, and Chitwan ?

    Ace Holidays provides standard twin sharing accommodation for the entire trip. The accommodation consists of 2 or 3 star hotels, which offer the facilities of attached bathrooms, dining room, a bar, Internet services, hot shower, and so forth. You can upgrade the accommodation to a five-star hotel for the entire trip at an additional charge. In Chitwan, your accommodation will be in a resort.

    What mode of transportation do you use?

    Private tourist vechicle and toursit bus. These transportations will be driven by license holder drivers.

    What is the best season for this trip?

    The best season for this Tour is from January to June, as well as, from October to December.

    What is the weather and the temperature like?

    Kathmandu generally has a climate with warm days followed by cool nights and mornings. Unpredictable weather is expected given temperatures can drop to 3 °C (37 °F) during the winter (Jan). In May, the maximum temperarure of Kathmandu is 29 degree celcius. In September, the minimum temperature of Kathmandu is 18 degree celcius and in December minimum temperature is 2 degree celcius.

    The climate of Pokhara is sub-tropical; however, the elevation keeps temperatures moderate. Summer temperatures average between 25 to 35 °C, in winter around - 2 to 15 °C. Pokhara receives the highest amount of rainfall (> 5600 mm/year or 222 inches/year) in the country. Summers are humid and mild; most precipitation occurs during the monsoon season (July - September). Winter and spring skies are generally clear and sunny.

    Chitwan has a tropical monsoon climate with high humidity all through the year. The area is located in the central climatic zone of the Himalayas, where monsoon starts in mid June and eases off in late September. During these 14–15 weeks most of the 2,500 mm yearly precipitation falls – it is pouring with rain. After mid-October the monsoon clouds have retreated, humidity drops off, and the top daily temperature gradually subsides from ±36 °C / 96.8 °F to ±18 °C / 64.5 °F. Nights cool down to 5 °C / 41.0 °F until late December, when it usually rains softly for a few days. Then temperatures start rising gradually

    Are there any volunteer projects that we could visit after the tour?

    Ace Holidays is one of the prime supporters of the social organization called Sambhav Nepal. There are several on-going projects in a village called Arupokhari (Gorkha district) which you are more than welcome to visit or even volunteer. You will be able to gain a different insight into the lives of the people in the hills.

    Is there a minimum and a maximum number for your groups?

    The minimum group of people is 4, and the maximum group is more than 12. Based on the group sizes, Ace Holidays maintains the field staff ratio to give you the satisfying service

    Does Ace Holidays book my own international flights to and from Nepal?

    No, you need to book your own International flights. Ace Holidays is a local agent and it would cost you significantly higher to book through Ace Holidays. Please find more information in the International Flight page.

    Will it be possible to get any clothes washed/Laundry ?

    Laundry service is easily available at your hotel, and there are many laundry stores in Kathmandu. Please note that laundry service is not included in the package price.

    Can I charge my digital camera or other equipments on my trip?

    These facilities are available in all the places in your hotel. Remember to bring your adapters.

    Is there any communication while we are on tour?

    There are telephones and Internet facilities available so you can always stay in contact with your family, friends, and relatives.

    Can I use credit cards in the places I visit?

    ATMs are available in Kathmandu. Major credit cards are accepted in all places but you need to pay 4% extra as bank levy, which might make cash more preferable.

    How much additional money do I need per day?

    It depends on your spending habits. USD 15 to 20 a day will be enough to buy lunch, dinner, chocolates, and a few drinks in cities. In trek, you need USD 20 to 40 for meals.

    Do I need to tip my guide and driver? How much would that be?

    Tips are always expected. It is a small gesture of thanks tocity guides towards the end of the tour. USD 20 to guide and USD 10 to driver per day is recommended per group, but this also entirely depends on your wish.

    Is the water fine to drink?

    Bottled water is available in all places.

    Are Ace Holidays' staffs insured?

    Yes. Ace Holidays' trek guides, tour guides, cooks, drivers, and porters are insured completely. They have health insurance, altitude mountain sickness insurance, life insurance, accident insurance, and casulty insurance.

    What essential documents do I need to bring with me on tours?

    Can I add extra days to my trip?

    A holiday should never be about making it to the final point quickly. You can add extra days with additional costs to cover guides, porters, accommodation, and food.

    What immunizations will I need?
