Langtang Valley Trek - 10 Days

Langtang Valley Trek is a short trek and takes you to the Paradise of Earth. Its another name is ‘The Valley of Glaciers Trek.’ In terms of grade, Langtang Valley Trek is moderate, and in terms of scenery, it abounds with beautiful landscapes. It offers you more beautiful scene than any other short trek of Nepal. It starts from Syabrubesi, and in the process of trekking, you reach to Kyanjin Gompa, a monastery, which lies at the highest vantage point of your trek, and which offers the spectacular view of Lampong Gang (6,733 m), Gumaba Chuli (6,256 m), Tsergo Ri (4,700 m), and Cherkori (5,200 m) mountains. These mountains are collectively called Langtang Peaks.

You also enjoy a close – up view of these peaks. Langtang Valley Trek also takes you to the uphill and downhill trails that are pleasant that offers a spectacular view of the glaciers and icefall. Besides these, it also offers the stunning view of Langtang Lirung (7,246 m), Langtang II (6,561 m), Dorje Lakpa (6,966 m), Morimoto (6,750 m), Dragmarpo Ri (6,578 m), Kimshung (6,500 m), Langshisha Ri (6,427 m), Ganchempo (6,387 m), Yala Peak (5,520 m), Surya Peak (5,144 m), Chyarkung Chuli (4,858 m), Bhimthang Karpo (5,691 m), and Ganchempo (6,387 m).

During Langtang Valley Trek, you also cross the wooden and suspension bridges, glaciated waterfalls, pass through the dense forest, walk by watermills, prayer wheels, chortens, and the Langtang River. Sometimes you walk on a narrow, flat trail, moraine, and rugged trail. Apart from this, you also walk by the colorful rocks and through the alpine meadows, flowery region, and pas tures, where you see the ponies and yaks grazing. The pasture of Langshisha offers the magnificent view of glaciers. Similarly, Tserko Ri, a famous viewpoint, offers the stunning view of the sunrise on mountains.
