Following this downhill trail, you reach the Dudh Kosi River, and if you translate this river into English, it would mean Milky River to you. Next day, you walk on a narrow trail, cross the suspension bridges and pass through boulders. As you look at the trekking trail that goes up and up that leads you, you make up your mind to finish this “up” because you want to reach Namche, where you can acclimatize, and from where you can see a beautiful view of the mountains. Tomorrow, you head off to Deboche by walking on a steep region, which offers a stunning view of mountains, such as Taboche, Nuptse, Everest, Lhotse, Ama Dablam, Kantega, Thamserku and Kusum Kanguru. This region not only offers the view of these mountains, but also has beautiful rhododendron and pine trees. Next morning, you trek on a steep trail and see the stunning view of mountains, such as Everest, Lhotse, Kantega, Thamserku, Ama Dablam and Nuptse. You also cross the Imja Khola (river) before an easy climb, or before reaching Pangboche. It is worth visiting its Pangboche Gompa (monastery), which is 300 years old. Further trekking includes crossing the river and walking steep trail up to Dingboche, which lies beneath Ama Dablam. This is the most beautfiful mountain of the world. Imagine how rewarding it is to spend a night in a village that lies close to Ama Dablam. Next morning, you are going to trek in the Chukhung Valley, which lies on the southern slopes of Lhotse and Nuptse mountains, by the Lho Glacier, the Nup Glacier, the Imjha glacier, and the Ama Dablam glacier. You will always find moving glaciers beautiful.

Tomorrow, you are going to walk by juniper plants and frozen streams, as well, as you are going to cross these streams, which have originated from the mountains. On the way, you see yak grazing on the high slopes, and you also pass the vast open area as you head back off to Dingboche. Words will fail to describe the beauty of this area, but the trekking trail climbs steadily up and takes you to the memorials of climbers.

On reaching Everest Base Camp, you see the tents of the Everest climbers, as well as mountains, such as Nuptse, Pumori, and Khumbutse, standing right in front of you. As you head off to Gorakshep, you follow the trail that passes through the lateral moraine of the Khumbu glacier. From this trail, you see mountains, such as Pumori, Mahalangur, Lingtern, Khumbutse, Nuptse, and so on. After completing a small ascent, you will reach Thangma Riju from where you can see a panoramic view of mountains. Following a steep switchback, you head off to the summit of Kalapathar, which is adorned with prayer flags, and which offers a view of Mt. Everest, Khumbu Glacier, Pumori, and so on.
